The “Call To Worship” is a traditional liturgical element containing spoken words of invitation with which a worship celebration begins. The words are usually spoken by the worship leader followed by responses by the congregation. Every time I write a new “Call To Worship,” I focus on the content of the preacher’s message for that day, while exhorting the people to enthusiastically enter into the time of worship. - B.J.
