Receive The Holy Spirit

When the doors were shut,
where disciples were assembled,
for fear of the Jews.
Jesus came and stood in their midst,
and He said to them, "peace be with you."
Now when He had said this,
He showed His hands and His side.
Then His disciples
were glad when they saw the Lord.

So Jesus said to them again "Peace to you!
As the Father has sent Me, I will also send you."
And when He had said this,
He breathed on them, and said to them
"Receive the Holy Spirit."
"If you forgive the sins of any man, they are forgiven them;
if you retain the sins of any man, they are retained."

Believe in Christ. Receive the Holy Spirit.

After eight days, Jesus came again,
and stood in their midst and said
"Reach your finger here, and look at My hands;
put your hand in My side.
Do not be unbelieving, but believe in Me.
Believe in Me."
but these are written that you may believe in Christ,
and that believing you may have life in His name.
